No Cook Overnight Oatmeal In a Jar

This overnight oatmeal comes together in just 5 minutes and is easily customization using your favorite fruit and jam. Requires no cooking, and since it’s prepared in a single serving jar with lid, it’s perfect for on the go, too!

INGREDIENTS

  • • 1 container (5.3 ounce) plain Greek yogurt
  • • 2/3 cup 2% milk
  • • 2/3 cup regular rolled oats (not instant or quick cooking)
  • • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • • 1/4 cup apricot jam (optional)
  • • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (optional-add strawberries, peaches)
  • • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds  (optional-add walnuts, sunflower seeds)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, oats, chia seeds, and jam. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  2. Divide mixture between 2 half-pint mason jars with lids. Cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. To serve, enjoy right from the jar or transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with some sliced almonds.
NOTES
With this No Cook Over Night Oatmeal, you can swap out the chia seeds for flaxseeds. Drizzle with a little maple syrup for added flavor. Oatmeal can be kept in refrigerator up to 3 days.

Every few days I change up the fruit and jam to keep it interesting, and the kids love it!

Since it’s prepped the night before in just 5 minutes, can easily be doubled, requires no cooking the next morning, and keeps them satisfied until lunch, I love it, too. Big time.
